Located in Coaldale, AB. We are a small, friendly, affirming parish. We welcome and include all persons regardless of race, age, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity or social standing. We do this by honouring the giftedness of each person, recognizing everyone's need for forgiveness and grace, and nourishing everyone in the faith.
We are public in our welcome such that those who have traditionally been marginalized by the Christian church may know that there is a parish home for them.
The Church of the Ascension stands on the traditional territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy. We also acknowledge the Metis Nation of Alberta and Indigenous people from many nations who call or have called this land home.

Our worship services are held at 10:00 am Sundays followed by fellowship and coffee in the hall. Please check the events page for any special services.
